Details

External registration required at nyhackr.

This month we have Alessandro Pireno giving a talk about knowledge graphs and LLMs.

Thank you to NYU for hosting us.

Everybody attending must RSVP through the registration form at nyhackr. There is a charge for in-person and virtual tickets are free.

Space is extremely limited and in-person registration closes at 3 PM the day of the talk.

About the Talk:
Knowledge graphs are transforming how we understand and utilize complex data. This session explores practical techniques for building them, from leveraging LLMs for nuanced relationship extraction to employing NLP and search for efficient entity linking. We'll also introduce SurrealDB, a multi-model database that simplifies graph implementation with its unique architecture and powerful features.

About Alessandro:
Alessandro is a seasoned product development and solutions leader with a proven track record of building and scaling data-driven solutions across diverse industries. He has led product strategy and development at companies like HUMAN and Omnicom Media Group, optimized data collection and distribution at GroupM, and was an early leader of success at Snowflake. With a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing today’s tech landscape, Alessandro is passionate about empowering organizations to unlock the full potential of their data through innovative database solutions.

The venue doors open at 6:30 PM America/New_York where we will continue enjoying pizza together (we encourage the virtual audience to have pizza as well). The talk, and livestream, begins at 7:00 PM America/New_York.

Remember, register at nyhackr.
