This month we have Esteve Aqachmar discussing how to close the gap between data and decisions.

Thank you to NYU for hosting us.

Everybody attending must RSVP through the registration form at nyhackr. There is a charge for in-person and virtual tickets are free.

Space is extremely limited and in-person registration closes at 3 PM the day of the talk.

About the Talk:
High-quality analysis doesn't always translate into better decisions. Even when the findings are sound, helping decision-makers determine what to do next can be a challenge.

In this talk, we'll explore how designing analytical presentations around the decisions they need to support can lead to better and faster decisions. Drawing on practical experience, we'll discuss principles for making analysis more actionable and helping data teams communicate their work using tools inside and outside the R ecosystem.

About Esteve:
Esteve Aqachmar helps organizations turn business strategy into measurable execution. With experience in cybersecurity, aerospace, and public administration, he has spent the past decade helping organizations translate complex information into practical insights, from performance measurement frameworks to analytical models and decision-support tools.

The venue doors open at 6:30 PM America/New_York where we will continue enjoying pizza together (we encourage the virtual audience to have pizza as well). The talk, and livestream, begins at 7:00 PM America/New_York.

Remember, register at nyhackr.
