What we’re about
This is a book club for people who want to read books published by New York Review Books and meet other literary people in NYC. The goal is to meet in the afternoon in a bar or coffee shop in or around North Brooklyn on the weekend once a month or maybe every other month and discuss a book from their collection. Open to suggestions for books and places to meet!

See all- André Breton - "Nadja"Le District, New York, NY
For the July meeting, we'll be reading André Breton's classic surrealist novel Nadja. We will once again meet in the dining area/common space of Le District in the mall at Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan, but this time on a Sunday. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
- Elsa Morante - "Lies and Sorcery"Le District, New York, NY
For our first post-summer meeting, we'll be reading Elsa Morante's epic novel Lies and Sorcery. We're putting off the meeting until early October just to give people time to read it, since it clocks in at a hefty 800 pages. We will once again meet on a Saturday morning in the dining area/common space of Le District in the mall at Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
