The Fall Foliage is at PEAK in the Hudson Valley! Leave the noise of the city behind and spend the day walking along the breathtaking Lake Minnewaska Loop Trail. This invigorating escape includes a scenic & a refreshing hike with stunning views of the Catskills, and post-hike visits to a local farm stand and hard cider farm.

### 🚆 Getting There:
Start your journey with the iconic ride up the Hudson River Line on the 7:55 AM Metro-North train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie.
— or drive and meet the group directly at the Poughkeepsie train station.
Once there, our guide (Dave Cervini) will meet you and transport you to all activities for the day.

### 🥪 The Day’s Itinerary:
- Stop to grab lunch at a local deli or bring your own
- Hike The Lake Minnewaska Loop, enjoying your lunch atop cliffs with stunning views of the Catskills
- After the hike, unwind with stops at a local farm stand and a hard cider farm.
- You’ll be on the 5:55 PM train back to NYC at the latest

### 🧭 About the Hike:
- Distance: Approx. 1.9 miles
- Difficulty Level: 3-4 (moderately challenging)
- Terrain: Gravel road—expect two uphill climbs equivalent to walking up 6 flights of stairs
- Scenery: Dramatic cliffside views, and serene forest paths.
- Members: 5 total

- Transportation from Poughkeepsie station to all locations

- Can I come alone? Absolutely! Most participants do—it’s a great way to meet new people.
- Dress Code: Dress for the weather. Hiking boots are strongly recommended.
