Perfect—this hunt is for you.
This isn’t an art lecture or a stuffy museum tour. It’s a fast-paced, social scavenger hunt designed to get you laughing, learning, and connecting while exploring one of the most famous museums in the world. It’s a fun, interactive way to spend a Saturday afternoon—and a great excuse to meet dozens of new, interesting people.
Come solo or bring friends. We’ll place you on a team, then send you out into the museum to hunt for clues, answer questions, and complete photo challenges hidden throughout the galleries. Along the way, you’ll encounter iconic works by Van Gogh, Monet, Dalí, Matisse, Warhol, Pollock, and more.
How it works
Check in at the designated meeting spot and get assigned to a team (unless you already have one).
Once teams are set, you’ll head into the museum to begin the hunt.
You’ll have 75 minutes to find clues, solve challenges, and rack up points.
Return to the starting point when time’s up.
We’ll tally the scores, announce the winners, and award prizes.
Afterward, stick around to socialize—or head back into the museum to explore more on your own.
What are the clues?
Everything is already inside the museum. Clues are hidden in paintings, sculptures, signage, hallways, the gift shop, and even the people around you. You don’t need to finish everything to win—there are bonus points, and strategy matters.
Skill level
No experience necessary. This event is about fun, teamwork, and exploration—not art expertise.

$25 for MoMA members (ticket must be purchased independently before check-in)
