MAIN PRESENTATION

Electrical Engineering for ProgrammersAndy Reitano, Microsoft Technical Evangelist

Learn about the rules of thumb acquired over many years as a professional Electrical/Embedded Engineer in the industry. With a few key principles, you can apply your existing knowledge of software programming and start solving problems in the physical world. The session will go over real use cases in support of a hobby electronics manufacturing company in New York. Walk away knowing how to develop for the Raspberry Pi with Windows 10 IoT, how to interface with sensors (with nothing but the datasheet), debugging systems without a console, basic circuit design, and how long a millisecond really is.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Andy Reitano is a Microsoft Technical Evangelist and Electrical Engineer from New York City specializing in FPGAs, embedded programming and PCB design. His work involves exploring the architecture of classic computers, IoT devices for process control, and real time multi-user applications.
