HOLIDAY LIGHTS PHOTO WALK - Bloomingdale's - Bergdorf Goodman then 5th Ave South

We'll meet in front of Bloomingdale's NYC on the Lexington Ave. side, in the middle of the block between 59th & 60th Streets at 6pm.

RESTROOMS
Bloomingdale's & Grand Central Terminal has plenty of facilities.

PLAN
We'll be starting in front of Bloomingdale's, Lexington Ave side, midway between 59th & 60th Streets. Then we can proceed to the Bloomingberg Christmas tree 1 block away.
Next we'll walk west along 57th St, capturing the bright colorful holiday window displays and on to Bergdorf Goodman's. After viewing & capturing the exciting windows here we'll head south for a few blocks along 5th Ave. then we'll head east to the Lotte NY Palace Hotel & take in the beauty of their magnificent court yard.

Recommendations for an enjoyable experience:

1. Feel free to make any suggestions of places along this route beforehand, to the email just above on this description page or on Meetup's messaging.
2. Dress warmly
3. If you are comfortable with and would like to, bring a tripod along, though it will slow you down a bit.
4. Be prepared for some crowds when we arrive at 5th Ave.

BACKGROUND
Holiday/Christmas festivities are an ongoing tradition & event in NYC, and are expressed with the extent that large retail & smaller businesses go through by decorating their storefront windows each year.

PHOTO SUBMISSION SUGGESTIONS
To make this a challenge for us all, you can submit your photos following our photo walking event.
If in doubt, submit anyway. At all cost we'd rather you submit than not do so since fun & message telling is our photo purpose. But our objective is to come up with an exciting album collective.
