This private group is for internal Metrotech08 Club soccer try-outs and practice for international students from NYC including NYU and other universities. Club fee is required to play in various New York city tournaments and we charge $ fee per game basis to cover field permits and equipment.
We love playing soccer which is why we founded this soccer club. We play 11 vs 11 or 9 vs 9, sometimes with sub spots. Only club members who actively participates in weekly trainings gets to join the "seleccion" and play in tournaments against other NY/NJ region's soccer clubs as well as other school's teams such as Ivy universities in official matches.
The organizers of club will try to set up practice games on weekly basis at Pier 40 for at least $10 USD per player.
Anyone wants to participate, please follow the rules below:
(1) Be on time, if you can't make it on time, please let the organizer know as early as possible. Anyone who is late and fails to notify the organizer unfortunately will not be able to play once teams have formed.
(2) Be committed, please make sure you will be able to make it on time.
After each game, the game organizer will mark those who fail above 2 and issue warnings.
