NYVR is back with another great lineup of XR Content. Below is the list of speakers. Usual format with demos/networking 6-7pm, presentations 7-8pm and more demo/networking 8-9pm. We look forward to seeing you and spread the word.

Alon Grinshpoon will present Echo3D
(www.echo3D.com) is a cloud platform for 3D asset management that provides tools and network infrastructure to help developers & companies quickly build and deploy 3D/AR/VR & Metaverse apps and games.

Nastaran Arfaei will present her research on VR Motion Sickness Desensitization
Nastaran Arfaei will be presenting her Virtual Reality Motion Sickness Desensitization training platform and the science behind it. The program leverages wearable sensor data to generate optimal levels of exposure for training against multiple types of motion sickness. "

Joergen Geerds will present the Tuskegee Airmen 360/VR documentary

The Tuskegee Airmen were the first all-black fighter group during World War II, excelling both in the fight against racism in the US as well as the fight against Nazi Germany. Joergen Geerds, CEO of www.konceptvr.com (a New York-based agency that focusses on the creative development, production, and distribution of immersive 360/VR content) will talk about this project, as well as the general state of the 360/VR community.

Michael Markman will present ShapesXR

https://www.shapesxr.com/ is a design and collaboration platform for remote teams. In ShapesXR, anybody can start creating in 3D without prior experience within minutes. It also has powerful MR creation capabilities that especially shine on the recently launched Meta Quest 3.

Additional Announcements:

Larry Confino with Mediasector Inc. would like to share information about his upcoming World Premiere of a documentary called Psychedelicized: The Electric Circus Story. The premiere will be Nov 11th at the IFC Center and he will provide a full presentation on the work at a future NYVR meetup.

Marta with Garage Stories www.garagestories.org/space-stories is collaborating with NASA and currently has an open call for (15) creatives and technologists from across the US to create an online think-tank focused on Sea Level Rise. Marta will be at the event to explain about the program and answer any questions you may have.
