NYVR Dev June Meetup: Intro to VIVE SRWorks

At the June meetup, Senior Developer Evangelist at HTC, Dario Laverde, will be introducing us to the new VIVE SRWorks SDK! Check out the description of his talk below:

• An Intro to the VIVE SRWorks SDK Workshop -

One of the new features of the Vive Pro is its stereo front facing cameras. In this workshop, the VIVE SRWorks SDK will be introduced - it enables pass-through stereo effects, room scanning, and dynamic depth detection that allows for real world interactions from your virtual experience.

A hands on live coding tutorial using Unity and the SDK's Unity plugin will be presented. Unreal is also supported and if time permits will be demonstrated. For more information on this SDK and sample videos see:

Bio:

Dario is a Sr Developer Evangelist at HTC with an EE background and 25+ years software development experience. He is a veteran of software development for mobile, embedded, Web, and enterprise. Among his various professional roles, he has worked as an Android instructor, consultant, Java architect, author and entrepreneur.
