Christchurch Python Meetup

Details
Join our monthly meetup about all things Python at Environment Canterbury (ECan).
Note: the meetup date has changed! The Python meetup is moving to the 4th Tuesday of the month to avoid clashing with other local tech meetups.
Also note: we are exploring other venue options. Please email hello@menno.io if you might know of a venue that the Python meetup could use.
Menno will be talking about "Testing with pytest". This will cover why pytest is so awesome and some of the ways it reduces friction when writing tests.
Doors open at 5:30pm, with the talk starting at 6pm.
Enter the ECan building through the glass doors on Tuam St. The doors need to be opened from the inside but people will be around to do that for you.
The meetup will also be accessible virtually. Point your web browser at https://bbb2.nzoss.nz/b/men-pg1-cot-ai2 to access the session using Big Blue Button.
For those who are interested, we are likely to head out for a drink and/or food somewhere nearby after the meetup.
Don't hesitate to pass this information around to whomever you think may be interested to hear and discuss all things Python.
PS: NZPUG's Code of Conduct applies for our local meetups and the online meetup.com group. Please read it up in case you haven't yet https://python.nz/code-of-conduct
We use a Discourse forum at https://python.chch.tech/ for communication and discussion about anything related to Python or the Christchurch Python meetup. You can also post comments here on Meetup.
