Waimano Falls Trail

Details
Head out on this 2.9-mile out-and-back trail near Pearl City, Oahu. Generally considered a challenging route. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
This trail is a steep, enjoyably challenging trek down to a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole. The trail is often muddy, so take your time, especially going down. There are ropes and trees to hold onto as you go. There’s a gorgeous waterfall that trickles down to another small waterfall that’s about a hot tub-sized natural pool area and that trickles down to another fall with a deep pool with big ropes as well as multiple points on every side with areas (marked with a white patch of spray paint) where you can jump off. This is a great option if you are looking to cool off in the summer heat.
We will meet at the trailhead. The hike leader will wear a red shirt and a hat.
