[Action] Mission Impossible 197: The Final Reckoning

I think I'm just surprised that Tom Cruise is still alive after one of his films hits post-production, especially his action genre forte.

One look at his career from the 80's to the 20's, it is quite the body of work. At times, I would like to see him in more drama roles (A Few Good Men), or villainous parts (Collateral), but here we will bid farewell to a series that goes back to (checks notes ...) 1996!!! I was barely in college at that time!

Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning will showcase what Cruise does best - an action film, wrapped in a spy genre that even has out-James Bonded 007, himself.

The synopsis:

"Ethan Hunt and the IMF team must track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity if it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, a deadly race around the globe begins. The time is just a placeholder - this is Memorial Day, on opening weekend, so ordering tickets beforehand is highly recommended.
