Friday, November 21st – Let’s Conquer the Crater Together!
Aloha, hikers! Ready for an unforgettable morning filled with breathtaking views, fresh ocean air, and that unbeatable sense of accomplishment? Join us as we climb the iconic Diamond Head Trail – Oahu’s legendary volcanic crater hike that rewards you with panoramic vistas of Waikiki, the sparkling Pacific, and Honolulu’s skyline! 🌅

Meetup Details:

  • 8:30 AM: Gather at the Diamond Head Visitors Center (plenty of time to say hi, snap pics, and get pumped!)
  • 9:00 AM SHARP: We hit the trail – no exceptions, so don’t be late! ⏰

Trail Stats (So You Know What’s Ahead):

  • 1.5 miles round-trip
  • 500 ft elevation gain
  • A mix of paved paths, dirt trails, and yes, some stairs (including that famous tunnel & optional spiral staircase!)

We’ll hike at a comfortable, inclusive pace so everyone can enjoy the journey – but please know your limits before signing up. This is a moderate hike with steady inclines and stairs, so listen to your body and come prepared! 💪

Entry Info (Important!): To enter the park, you’ll need either:

  • A valid Hawaii ID (local resident entry), OR
  • A pre-purchased reservation starting at $5 + tax per person. 👉 Book your spot HERE: https://gostateparks.hawaii.gov/diamondhead Reservations are required for non-residents – don’t get turned away at the gate!

What to bring: Water (at least 1L), sunscreen, hat, sturdy shoes, snacks, and your aloha spirit! 😄
