Neighbors Helping Neighbors — A Community Conversation
I’m putting together a small, relaxed meetup for people in Oak Park, Royal Oak, Southfield, Detroit, and the surrounding area who are interested in connecting with others and having a genuine conversation about life, change, challenges, and the things we learn along the way.
The past couple of years have given me some experiences and situations that I’d like to talk through with other people—not just to tell my story, but to hear different perspectives, get feedback, and learn from people who may have experienced something similar.
This isn’t a lecture, therapy session, or anything overly formal. It’s simply neighbors helping neighbors: sharing experiences, exchanging hard-earned lessons, asking questions, and maybe helping each other see things from a perspective we hadn’t considered before.
All are welcome. Come as you are. You can participate as much or as little as you’d like. If you want to share, share. If you’d rather listen, that’s perfectly fine too.
No pressure. No judgment. Just real people, real conversation, and hopefully some useful connections and perspectives along the way.
