Alameda Brewing Company and the Christmas Tree Lane Run

While many of our runners will likely be out-of-town enjoying the holidays, there are a few (like Candie, at least until the next day) that will be around and would still want to get together for a Tuesday night run. Fortunately, we have that here for you -- and a "cool" one (both literally and figuratively). While we expect to have a small crowd, we wanted to make the week of Christmas an awesome one. For this Tuesday night run, head to Alameda -- we'll be making our debut visit to Alameda Brewing Company, and we'll be running through the festive, wonderful lights of Thompson Avenue -- a.k.a. Christmas Tree Lane.

We will meet at Alameda Brewing Company, run a 5k in Central Alameda and through Christmas Tree Lane (Thompson Avenue), and finish back at the brewery with beers and food. (Monkey King at the Brewery is available next door, and the brewery will allow outside food to be permitted in the premises.) Please note: There will be trivia happening inside that night, and so, please be courteous with the other non-running patrons that are also there during our event. We do NOT have a place to leave any belongings, but if that changes, we will let you know in advance and/or upon arrival.

Alameda Brewing Company is located 1.2 miles from Fruitvale BART Station, and AC Transit lines 19, 30, 31, and 51A will help get you to the brewery. The venue has a small parking lot with very limited spots, and there is limited street parking around the area. Please arrive early to secure a parking spot. The brewery is dog friendly.

Like all runs, we will do our best to prevent people from getting lost (verbal directions are often provided beforehand and/or QR code with directions is printed), and we are very flexible when it comes to pace and distance. All levels of running and drinking experience are welcome!
