OBR at Trumer Taproom's "Last Call"

It was sad to hear the news of Trumer Taproom in Berkeley closing their doors this month. Their last day is officially Friday, May 22, but they wanted to throw a big last call party on their final Saturday of operation. As a big send-off thank you to the crew that has allowed and taken care of us in their home the past visits (including the 20th Anniversary celebration), let's join the party -- enjoy some beers, cherish some memories, and of course, have one more run from their spot. It is a weekend run -- so, it will likely be a small group of us there. Expect many non-OBR patrons in attendance at the taproom. Meanwhile, here's the usual OBR description -- we will meet at Trumer Brewery in West Berkeley, run to the Albany Shoreline and Golden Gate Fields (via Gilman Street and the 80/Gilman Street pedestrian overpass), and then we'll finish back at the taproom for drinks and food.

Although the meeting time is at 12:00pm, we don't start the actual run until around 12:10pm. We don't have a spot yet to leave any personal belongings especially with an expected big crowd, but if we are able to have a spot or table, we will let you know upon your arrival. Otherwise, leave it in the car (or with a friend), or (at best) carry lightly.

Street parking can be limited in this area. So, please make an effort to arrive early or take public transit. Trumer Taproom is about than 1.3 miles from North Berkeley BART.

Like all runs, we will do our best to prevent people from getting lost (verbal directions are often provided beforehand and/or QR code with directions is printed), and we are very flexible when it comes to pace and distance. All levels of running and drinking experience are welcome!
