Headlands Berkeley (Westbrae) Ohlone Greenway Saturday AM Run

Let's visit a beer garden spot in North Berkeley where OBR has NEVER made an appearance. For Candie, he remembers that April 2016 date which his former run group (East Bay Beer Runners) did their first-ever weekend run. That first EBBR weekend run was from Westbrae Biergarten. Eight years later (in 2024), Westbrae Biergarten became Headlands Brewing. Turning 2 years old soon, let's take a trip to Berkeley and the beer garden there to kickoff summer.
We will meet at Headlands Brewing in North Berkeley (formerly Westbrae Biergarten). We will run on the Ohlone Greenway (northbound) and turnaround at the El Cerrito Plaza BART station (Central Avenue). The round-trip run distance is 3.27 miles. Upon return, treat yourself to Headlands brews (with a few guest taps), wine, and food inside the beer garden.

The meeting time is at 10:30am, but we don't typically start our run until 10:40am. There is typically plenty of free street parking available near the beer garden, and there is some bike parking available on the nearby streets. North Berkeley BART is less than 3/4-mile away from the beer garden via Ohlone Greenway.
PLEASE REMEMBER -- Headlands Brewing (Westbrae) DOES NOT open to the public (including our group) until 11:00am. Likewise, we DO NOT have an official storage area for bags and belongings. If you are unable to leave your belongings at home, please coordinate with someone with a vehicle to store it in. Also, tables are first come, first serve upon post-run arrival.
Like all runs, we will do our best to prevent people from getting lost (QR code and/or verbal directions provided beforehand), and we are flexible when it comes to pace and distance. All levels of running and drinking experience are welcome!
