Join us to play in our 3rd ever tournament hosted by East Bay Go. It'll be 3-rounds, 3 divisions (all handicap), Fischer time (20m + 15s inc). Event is held partly outdoors, so please dress in layers.

Date: Sunday September 21st from 9:00am ~ 5:00pm
Location: Studio KDA in West Berkeley at 1810 Sixth St #2003, Berkeley, CA 94710 (map).

Registration Fee:

• $25 General
• $15 Under 23
• It is free for spectators

Time settings: Fischer 20min + 15s/move
Prizes:

• $50 for 1st place in all divisions

• T-shirts for 1st, 2nd, 3rd in all divisions

FAQ

Q. Are we going to be outside?
A. Maybe? Last tournament we were able to fit everyone inside of the building, but it doesn’t hurt to dress in layers, put on sunscreen, and bring a hat!

Q. Will there be food?
A. We’re going to provide breakfast & lunch.

Q. Do I need to be an AGA member to play
A. No, this tournament will not be AGA rated

Schedule

• Check-in: 9:00
• Please show up on time for check-in so we can start games at 9:30 am
• Enjoy some breakfast for showing up early
• If you are not checked in by 9:20 we are going to have to remove you from the tournament.
• First game: 9:30 am
• Second game: 11:30 am
• Lunch: 1:30
• Third game: 2:30 pm
• Awards: 4:30 pm
