Time to get outdoors. This will be backpack camping. The plan is about 2km each way bush-wacking (no trail) on Crown land to end up at Gibson River to camp along the river

Difficulty; high
You have to carry all your camping gear on your back, and the terrain is very unknown. The plan is to go offtrail, so there could be lots of braches in the way, rocks to climb, maybe swampy areas to walk through.
But if you like a challenge, feel welcome to join.

Disclaimer:
I and the group are not responsible for you. Each person must be able to pack and carry their own gear/ food, and make your own choices for safety. Feel free to ask any questions or suggestions.

Plan:
Fri night- camp on crown land on Minors Bay 200m hike
Sat- pack up and hike the straight line from Cowies rd to Gibson River
Sun- pack up and go back the way we came (possibility of doing a loop & taking a trail back from the other side of the bay)

I will bring at least 1 (maybe 2 ) large dog offleash, very friendly to ppl in his group, but not to bears, so he'll fend them off for us

Straight Line Challenge:
If you havent seen a staight line challenge on youtube, its simply a challenge to stay as close as u can to in a straight line that you pick for yourself.

I figure this should be a good time of year to try a straight line challenge, before the bugs, poison ivy, ticks, thorns, and rattlesnakes come out.
Ive never done this type of challenege before, and never seen anyone do it for camping, but its always fun to try something new.
I know 2 backup options nearby for crownland camping, if we cant do the planned route for whatever reason.

Starting location;
Cowies Rd, Georgian Bay
