Come check out Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands. Its a non operating provincial park, so free camping and not far from GTA.

Difficulty: Beginner-intermediate
-Average 4km/day hiking, carrying all camping gear.
-Some hills + beaver damn to cross, and trails may be overgrown a bit once we get further

Beginners welcome. It should be a good challenge, but very doable if its your 1st time backpack camping. It's not as difficult as it seems.

I and the group are not responsible for you. Each person must be able to pack and carry their own gear/ food, and make your own choices for safety. Feel free to ask any questions or suggestions.

Plan:
You can arrive late or the next day and catch up
Fri- hike about 2.5km to camp on Sheldon L
Sat- hike about 6km further to camp on Victoria L.
Sun- either hike back to sheldon L or stay an extra night
Mon- get back to the cars

Location:
1115 Devils Lake Rd, Minden, ON K0M 2L1
Theres a parking lot by the lake with free parking

Gear:
-Feel free to ask suggestions for cheap lightweight gear.
-I'll bring a 6L water filter any1 can use as well
-Dogs: I'll likely bring 1 or 2 offleash. More welcome. good alarm system, bear/racoon/squirrel repellent, fire-wood breaker :D
