Oars and Pours

Let's paddle for pastries in Ventura Harbor! We'll meet at Harbor Cove Beach, explore the harbor/canals, & finish off at Le Petit Cafe 🥐. (NOTE: In the event of heavy winds/currents, the departure point will move to a more mellow part of the harbor. I will give a heads up if this happens.)

A few notes:

• ⏰ TIMING: We'll plan to set sail no later than 9:10 AM, so please have your paddle gear on the sand and ready to roll.
• 🚗 PARKING: There's plenty of public parking at Harbor Cove Beach. (Note: Paid parking now begins at 10 AM, so don't get a ticket!)
• ⚠️ SAFETY: Remember to have a life jacket on board or you might end up on Harbor Patrol's Most Wanted. (But seriously, you can get a ticket for being life jacket-less.)

If you're new here, read on:

• 🛶 PADDLE: Stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoes, and the like are all welcome. When in doubt, go for it.
• ➡️ FORMAT: We typically paddle for about an hour, deflate/load our gear in our cars, and then reconvene for some hangs. Shortcuts are welcome and no worries if you have to cut out after the paddle.
• 💡EXPERIENCE: Ventura Harbor is pretty chill and good for building your confidence. However, the Harbor Cove departure point sometimes involves paddling past small waves before cutting inside. Feel free to pick an alternative starting point if you're more comfortable and find us in the harbor!
• 🛟 RENTALS: We're not affiliated with the rental companies but encourage you to research options on your own!
