Paddle & Picnic - Rain Date (Goleta)

We got rained out last time, so let's try this again...join us for a paddle & picnic at Goleta Beach Park! We'll meet on the beach past the playground area (see map), paddle the Goleta Beach shoreline, and finish off with a picnic in Goleta Beach Park!

A few notes:

• 🛶 PADDLE: Stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoes, and the like are all welcome. When in doubt, go for it.
• 🍉 PICNIC: BYO picnic gear and grub. (Note: There are picnic tables.)
• ⏰ TIMING: We'll plan to push off no later than 9:15 AM. If you're late to the rally point and miss us, we'll catch you on the water.
• 🚗 PARKING: There is public parking in Goleta Beach Park.
• ➡️ FORMAT: We typically paddle for about an hour, deflate/load our gear in our cars, and then reconvene for some hangs. Shortcuts are welcome and no worries if you have to cut out after the paddle.
• 💡EXPERIENCE: Goleta Beach is an ocean paddle - so if you're brand new or have doubts, we'd recommend joining for a future harbor paddle instead. (You should still come for the picnic regardless!)
• 🛟 RENTALS: We're not affiliated with the rental companies but encourage you to research options on your own!
