Paddle for Pastries (Oxnard)

Our accidental hiatus is over - and we're heading back to the Ventura Coast! Come paddle for pastries in Channel Islands Harbor! We'll meet at the public dock behind Mrs. Olson's (see map), explore the harbor, and finish off with a pastry and coffee at Honey Cup down the street.

A few notes:

• 🛶 PADDLE: Stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoes, and the like are all welcome. When in doubt, go for it.
• ⏰ TIMING: We'll plan to set sail no later than 9:15 AM, so please plan to have your paddle gear at the dock and ready to roll.
• 🚗 PARKING: There's plenty of free public parking in the area in front of both Mrs. Olson's (starting point) and Honey Cup (ending point). There is also a curbside area to unload gear.
• 💡EXPERIENCE: Channel Islands Harbor is pretty chill and good for building your confidence. If you're a super beginner, we'd recommend bringing a buddy who can stick with you.
• 🛟 RENTALS: We're not affiliated with the rental companies but encourage you to research options on your own!
• ➡️ FORMAT: We typically paddle for about an hour, deflate/load our gear in our cars, and then reconvene for some hangs. Shortcuts are welcome and no worries if you have to cut out after the paddle.
