Paddle & Party (Carpinteria) ~ Oars & Pours is turning 2 🥳

Oars & Pours is turning 2! Join us for a celebratory paddle in Carp followed by a low key birthday party on Linden Square's epic patio -- home of Dart Coffee, Corazon Kitchen, & more.

If you've been a part of our journey these past 2 years (or have been meaning to check us out), we hope to see you there! If you can't make the paddle, come for the party. ✌️

A few notes:

• ⏰ TIMING: We'll set sail no later than 9:10 AM, so have your paddle gear on the sand and ready to roll. If you're late, try to catch up on the water or meet us for the après-paddle at Linden Square.
• PARKING: If street parking is unavailable, try the public lot at 475 Linden Ave.

If you're new here, read on:

• PADDLE: Stand-up paddleboards (SUPs), kayaks, canoes, and the like are all welcome. When in doubt, go for it.
• ➡️ FORMAT: We typically paddle for about an hour, deflate/load our gear in our cars, and then reconvene for some hangs. Shortcuts are welcome and no worries if you have to cut out after the paddle.
• ⚠️ SAFETY: Have a life jacket on board for safety & to avoid a ticket.
• EXPERIENCE: Some experience is recommended as Carp requires getting past a small break - so maybe wait for a harbor paddle if you're new or have doubts. (But still come for the party either way!)
• RENTALS: We're not affiliated with the rental companies but encourage you to research options on your own!
