Every week you can play games in the OBA Next Lab Sluisbuurt, while enjoying free snacks and drinks. The atmosphere is friendly and without obligation. Come join us as our experts introduce you to our board game collection or bring your own to share with friends.

Step into a world where language learning, storytelling, and adventure come together. Dutchness & Dragons is a unique Dungeons & Dragons experience designed to help players practice Dutch through roleplay, collaboration, and immersive storytelling — whether you are new to tabletop RPGs or already a seasoned adventurer.
During this Session 0, we introduce the vision, structure, and community behind Dutchness & Dragons. You’ll learn how the program works, what to expect from the campaigns, and how we create a welcoming space for players of different backgrounds and language levels.
After the introduction, participants will:
- Meet their fellow adventurers and form new groups (or reconnect with an existing one)
- Join their Dungeon Master if already assigned, or explore later starting groups
- Begin the real Session 0 of the campaign: creating characters, shaping party concepts, and exploring the world together
- Discuss group expectations, do’s & don’ts, and establish a shared playstyle
- Plan future sessions and schedules
No previous D&D experience is required — curiosity and openness are more important than knowing the rules. Session 0 is all about building a strong foundation so every player can feel safe, creative, and ready for adventure.
