Breakfast with the Prime Minister then High Tea with the Queen
Details are sketchy as to where the President is going to be and when, due to understandable issues of security and crowd control.
Those wanting to catch a glimpse of our new President have their best bet to go to Downing Street in the morning, early am as The President will definitely be having breakfast with the Prime Minister.
According to the US Embassy website President Obama is scheduled to meet with President Hu of China and also with Russian President Medvedev on the same day.
A welcome rally is arranged by some members for later in the afternoon. With President Obama's ever changing schedule no one can guarantee that he will arrive at the following times.
The first part will take place on the south side of the Mall at the far western corner, outside the front gate of Buckingham Palace. The President will arrive at the Garden Entrance of the Palace 17.15. suggested congregate point from 4:00 pm.
Following that President Obama is scheduled to have dinner with the Prime Minister at Downing Street for a meeting at 19.30. Some plan to meet outside the gates of Downing Street from 6:00 pm onwards.
It may all come to nothing; so be prepared for disappointment, .. On the other hand if you cannot bear to miss seeing the President by all means; It will be all be so worth it if you do!
