About us

The "Obliqua" talking circle meets weekly (online) for deep-felt conversation.

Speak openly and feel at ease with people you can really trust and count on.

● Talk fearlessly about loss, uncertainty, and self-worth
● Always know what the others are feeling
● Conquer disillusionment ― tremendously strong and joyful

The well-tuned connections and deep friendships within talking circles are the result of hard work. We go up and down through the stages of each feeling, whether we’re discussing expectations, doubt, guilt, trust, or conflicts in relationships. Expect the group to be receptive to your reason and passion. We have comfortable dialogues about what matters most to us. Weekly meetings to quest after our unsoiled sentiments.

● Do you have wounds you suspect will never heal?
● What could truly give you strength right now?
● Are you making space for your true self?

Obliqua is a supportive space for helping you when you are stuck, in pain, or in a place of isolation.

Our group does not use set topics; we just come together to talk about whatever is on our minds. We explore unresolved emotions and delve into the raw, unpolished moments of life that reveal who we are. We confront our doubts and navigate the complexities of our inner worlds, examining the stories we tell ourselves while exploring the terrain of fear, strength, and the enduring quest for self-understanding.

There is room to speak about what we carry silently, are confused about, or what would make us feel that we really mattered. And at other times, we can cheer a member's accomplishments or honour their fortitude.

So: if you care to talk to others and explore what it means to live authentically, then meet with us for a talk. Join us for unvarnished conversation and exchanges of consolation. You can expect a comfortable, confidential, and judgement-free environment.

Talking circles can vary widely. Here's what defines ours:

● Dialogues: Open sharing with optional feedback and questions from others.
● No recurring focus on spirituality. No rituals, meditation, or breathing exercises.
● Shared leadership among members.
