Jackbox Online

Time to play various party games with each other virtually! This was a HUGE success in the past and people love it!

Basically you watch a stream on Discord and then enter the access code on jackbox.tv from your mobile device/iPad/computer to join the game! Games are all different ranging from making terrible drawings and then trying to sell them, answering trivia to avoid a killer, coming up with slogans to go with other players catch-phrases and more! Even if you are part of the "audience" you still vote on which answers you like the best, so there can be as many players as you want! Want to see it played? Go to YouTube and look for Jackbox. There are too many games to just describe! We have many Jackbox Party Packs!

IMPORTANT: Once you RSVP to this event, go to the link below to download Discord, create a free account and join the CAH MetroWest server. You MUST use Discord for this event (it's how you see the game screen!)

PLEASE HAVE 2 DEVICES:
1.) a computer/ipad/tablet to run Discord & watch the game screen
2.) A mobile device/tablet to run jackbox.tv (where you will actually play the games.)
While it is possible to do both on the same device, it is extremely difficult and annoying to switch constantly between apps.

If you can, please use a headset. While Discord is pretty good about noise filtering, if your speakers are too close to your microphone, everyone will get feedback.

On game night:
1- Log into Discord
2- Look on the list of voice channels (left side). Click on the one that says "Jackbox Party". When you click on it, you will enter voice chat, so anyone else in the room can hear you.
3- When the host is there, you will see the directions on what to do next. The host will have an icon next to their name indicating streaming. Right-click on host and select Join Stream. You will then see the game screen!
4- Go to Jackbox.tv on any web browser on your mobile device. It will ask you to enter the room code. There will be a 4-letter room code displayed on the game screen. Enter it and your name and you will see yourself pop up in game! Now just wait until we start and follow the prompts on your device!
