Irvine Regional Park to Look for California Quail (and Other Birds)

Hello all! A member recently asked where one can see California Quail here in SoCal, and it occurred to me how rarely I see our state bird when out birdwatching. After doing some research, Irvine Regional Park seems to be the best place to reliably see Quail--specifically, by the bathrooms by the "P" Parking Lot. So, let's see if this info is accurate and hopefully see some of our beautiful and entertaining state birds.

The forecast calls for no rain tomorrow, so let's hope that holds true. Let's meet at the P lot (see map). There is a $3 charge to park at Irvine Regional on weekdays. We will explore beyond the P parking area for about 2 hours. Feel free to leave early or stay later. I will have an extra pair of binoculars to lend. Hope to see you there!
