O.C. Gay Men's Book Club

For October we have selected the book "Separate Rooms" by Pier Vittorio Tondelli. Andrew Sean Greer calls it: “a story of love and youth and pain that will have you clutching at your heart. I want everyone to read it; I want to press it into people’s hands. Surely one of the best novels I’ve ever read.”

We will gather again at the Twisted Vine in downtown Fullerton where wine can be sampled, and food from the full kitchen can be purchased. (See menu here: https://www.twistedvinewines.com/menu) Please read the book ahead of time. Join us to share your thoughts and friendship.

For the month of October we have selected the book “Heart of Stone” by Johannes T. Evans. Please read or listen to the book ahead of time and come prepared to share your thoughts with us.

If we reach a group size of 16 or more we may break into two groups for improved intimacy and ability to hear. Usually this will mean two groups of 10-12 people each.

We meet at Urth Cafe, in the alley by the Starbucks. Urth cafe has a variety of food and drink options (see the menu here: https://www.urthcaffe.com/orange). There is free parking on adjacent streets surrounding the Orange Circle. There is also a Parking Structure on Maple and Lemon. Every month, some group members come early to grab a brew at Provisions Cafe (143 N Glassell St.)
