FALL for paddling in the Harbor

Well, FALL/Winter is upon us and the harbor is stuffed with cheer! The weather can be unpredictable, the water a bit chilly but it all adds up to fun in the sun here in Sunset Beach, California. It's time to enjoy all that nature has to offer and find that inner child while we paddle, socialize and breathe in the sights on our tour of the beautiful canals of Huntington Harbor. Watch out for swimming reindeer... HoHoHo

We are a friendly group of adventurers who enjoy the outdoors, love to exercise and experience our fabulous coastal water communities and safe harbors. This is a very diverse group with some paddling off alone and with small groups, as well as the main body of paddlers staying together

We offer a safe way to introduce all ages to kayaking at a very affordable group rental rate. There are single and double kayaks available. Life jackets, seats and paddles are provided. After checking out the kayaks, simply walk to the waters edge and sit down and paddle out through the light traffic canals.

If you OWN a kayak, just show up and participate at NO cost. Discounted rental of $20 includes: kayak, seat, paddle and life jacket, as well as basic paddling technique, upon request. You are allowed out for up to 2 hours.

**The weather in this season is full of surprises, even when overcast, so, be ready to sit back, paddle, breath in our fresh ocean air and enjoy what nature has to offer. Don't forget a hat, sandals or water shoes, sunscreen, gloves if you prefer, and water/snack. If enough interested in having lunch after, we can set it up when there.
