Tower 68 to the Newport Beach Pier along the shoreline.

Park near Seashore/Orange, we can meet near the park/restrooms at that corner. There is usually plenty of free street parking at this time of morning. There is also a pay parking lot.

The walk is 2 miles each way, it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the Pier, you are welcome to turn back whenever you feel you've had enough if you are a new to beach walking or short on time.

I'll be bringing Henry, dogs are allowed on the beach, on leash (max 6 foot), until 10am.

It will be about 60 degrees so wear layers. I generally go barefoot but recommend shoes if you are new to distance on the sand. Wear a pair that's ok to get wet. Bring water for you (and your dog) and a towel/blanket if you want to sit and enjoy the views for a little while afterwards. Don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses or a hat.
