What we’re about

Be prepared, be resilient, and be ready for the unexpected.
Disasters—both natural and man-made—can strike at any time. Whether it’s earthquakes, wildfires, forced evacuations, floods, blackouts, or social unrest, having a solid plan can mean the difference between chaos and survival. The Orange County Preparedness Group is here to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to stay safe and self-sufficient in any emergency. For over 12 years, Orange County Preparedness Group has provided the most comprehensive and well-organized training curriculum among emergency preparedness and MeetUp groups in the Southland. We offer structured training across 18 essential skill sets, including water storage and purification, food security, medical care, personal safety, and backup power.

Our goal—Training members to achieve multi-month self-sufficiency, ensuring they can endure most emergency scenarios. Orange County Preparedness Group fosters a collaborative environment where members can share strategies and tailor their preparedness plans to suit their individual and family needs. Our group is not a political group or militia. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds—religious, social, and political—who share a common goal: to be ready for the unexpected. Our community is built on trust, inclusivity, and mutual respect, and we expect all members to uphold these values.

Join us—We invite you to attend a meeting as our guest and experience firsthand the quality of our training and the strength of our community. After you select “Request To Join” our organizer will add you to the group, then simply RSVP to the next meeting.

Time and Location: Our meetings take place in Tustin, conveniently located near the 55 and 5 freeways, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. You will have access to the location of the meeting once you are added to the group.
If you have any questions, please message the organizer, Captain Kirk.
