Board Game Social ???

Hey friends.

Another late / short notice posting...

...so last Friday, a friend invited me to a game night in downtown LA...and it was pretty fun...and then on Sunday, at another friend's birthday party -- they also played a game (and we talked about volunteering). haha

Various things / activities can get expensive, but getting together to play games is fairly frugal imo.

I personally am indifferent / disinterested in competitive and/or complex games -- but do enjoy more silly, simple, easy-to-learn & easy-to-play games.

If a few people are interested...

...would 4-6 people be available to meet on Friday night in Orange ? Yeah, it's short notice, so again, my expectations are low. The baseball game is on Fri night, so maybe it's bad timing.

or

...would 4-6 people be available on Sunday night to meet at an Ethiopian restaurant in Anaheim (for dinner) and then play some games?

or

...in the future, another place to possibly meet is in Irvine

or

...if anyone isn't trick-or-treating with kids or going to a Halloween party on Friday, Oct 31 -- I'll probably post something to see if anybody wants to meet.

Oh, and for those who don't live in SoCal -- the game I recently played on Sunday at a friend's birthday (thanks Kevin) -- it actually might be play-able via zoom / online -- so I'll probably check back to see if others are interested.
