About us

We are an organization dedicated to promoting and advocating human, constitutional, and democratic rights of all individuals. We organize and participate in peaceful assembly, join rallies and demonstrations of like minded groups, and strive for peace and justice for all people in Central Florida and beyond.

Our group discusses local, state, national international affairs, as well as issues pertaining to social justice. In protest and messaging, we put our minds to work and, often, our bodies on the front lines.

CFPJ endorses nonviolent, visionary, and enlightened solutions to local, regional, state, national, and international issues. We represent a growing number of area residents who are urgently seeking a peaceful resolution to challenges and conflicts.

A few Christian nationalists in Ocala think it's ok to lionize the late Charlie Kirk. Let's get out there to peacefully protest with signs that tell the true story about him. Examples:

KIRK WAS A RACIST!

KIRK WAS NOT A TRUE CHRISTIAN!

KIRK NOT A ROLE MODEL!

KIRK PUT DOWN WOMEN AND GIRLS!

KIRK REPRESENTED THE OPPOSITE OF JESUS’ PREACHINGS!

KIRK SOWED HATRED!

THE ONLY THINK KIRK WAS CORRECT ABOUT WAS THAT ISRAEL IS A GENOCIDER!

It is against the Bible and Jesus’ teachings to sow distrust and
disdain for others and to denounce immigrants the way Kirk
did at many speeches and interviews. Kirk frequently referred
to a destructive concept, “the great replacement strategy,”
which was used by Hitler and legions of anti-Semites for generations
leading up to WWII. In stark contrast, Jesus says,
“Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality
to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison
with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in
the body.” (Hebrews 13:1-25)
Kirk legacy is not morality. As a Christian, he was truly a
snake in the grass, and his malignant thinking should never
be praised or perpetuated in our fine nation.

As Trump's fascism, immorality, lifetime of perversions, and deteriorating mental and physical health become increasingly apparent each day, together with other pro-democracy groups, in this 17th demonstration since Pedo-Felon's 2nd abomination of a term began, we’ll let his administration and sycophantic MAGAts know that we won't return to the evil days of colonialism and that the US Constitution is inviolable. Trump and his puppet minions continue attempting to throw our nation back to when oligarchs and rapacious bosses ruled omnipotent!

The third nationwide "No Kings" protest is aiming to mobilize millions against the Trump administration's authoritarianism and lawless ICE actions. Organized by a coalition including Indivisible and the ACLU, the rallies follow recent violent immigration crackdowns in Minnesota, Los Angeles, Miami, and NYC.

Our nation's Constitution embodies principles upon our nation was founded and prospered. And flatulent Donald "TACO Two Dolls" Trump has menaced every patriotic and constitutional principle in each administration. He’s actively defying our courts, promoting vicious attacks on innocent protesters, sidelining Congress, cracking down on First Amendment-protected voices, empowering racism, xenophobia, and sexism, ruining our economy, and attempting to stifle anyone in his deviant path.

On March 28, let’s stand together again and raise our voices against Trump’s anti-labor edicts, corruption, and abuses of power. We will join regional groups Ocala Blue Dots, Ocala Demands Action, the Marion County Democratic Party, Marion County Young Democrats, Ocala-Marion County for Democracy, and Marion for Peace to express alarm and anger at the brutal and unconstitutional actions of the Trump regime.

Please bring succinct message signs (supporting attached sticks are recommended for best visibility), or we have plenty of extras on hand. Sample messaging below.

Our local rallies downtown are each involving an average of 500 decent souls who show up and attracting state-wide attention. The rally in May 2025 had more than 1,000 participants!

All these protests have been incited by a series of executive orders by bumbling Donald Trump, including actions led by the defunct "DOGE" bullies, which eliminated the positive and inclusive role of the federal government and killing thousands in developing countries. We also demand the reinstatement of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives that have been rescinded through racist executive orders.
