We are an organization dedicated to promoting and advocating human, constitutional, and democratic rights of all individuals. We organize and participate in peaceful assembly, join rallies and demonstrations of like minded groups, and strive for peace and justice for all people in Central Florida and beyond.
Our group discusses local, state, national international affairs, as well as issues pertaining to social justice. In protest and messaging, we put our minds to work and, often, our bodies on the front lines.
CFPJ endorses nonviolent, visionary, and enlightened solutions to local, regional, state, national, and international issues. We represent a growing number of area residents who are urgently seeking a peaceful resolution to challenges and conflicts.

On June 14, Trump wants tanks in the streets. He wants to grandstand, with our flag and our soldiers as props. He wants to be a tyrant king -- so he’s throwing himself a taxpayer-funded parade on his birthday, just like he’s seen other tyrants do.
But we don’t do kings here. And together with Indivisible and other pro-democracy groups, we’ll let Trump know it. While Trump hosts his uncouth and wasteful birthday parade in DC, we’ll rise up in Ocala and with others around the nation -- with your help, in numbers even bigger than our April Hands Off! rally -- to show him and MAGAts what real power looks like.
No Kings! No crowns! No thrones!
Those are principles upon our nation was founded. They were the battle cry of the Continental Congress that adopted our colonial flag in June of 1777, in the midst of a war to throw off a monarchy. June 14 is, in fact, Flag Day. And Donald Trump has disgraced every patriotic and constitutional principle. He’s actively defying our courts, sidelining Congress, cracking down on dissent, and, with this ego-driven military parade, stealing from the people to pay for his birthday party.
The No Kings! Rally is how we’ll remind MAGATS, plus actual patriots, that we don’t suffer "kings" in this country. Trump wants the world to see a glorious and powerful ruler, but what we’ll show them is a weak and unpopular president -- a lame duck flailing for attention as the masses stand up to reject him.
Millions showed up around the nation on April 5 for the Hands Off! protests. Over a thousand events were held during the May Day mobilization last week.
On June 14, let’s stand together again, in even bigger numbers, against Trump’s cruelty, corruption, and abuses of power. We will be joined by members of regional groups Ocala Blue Dots, Marion County Democratic Party, Marion County Young Democrats, Ocala Demands Action, Ocala-Marion County for Democracy, and Marion for Peace to express alarm and anger at the brutal and unconstitutional actions of the Trump/Musk regime. Protesters will represent other counties in addition to Marion County, including Alachua, Volusia, Lake, Sumter, Hernando, and Citrus counties.
Please bring succinct message signs (supporting attached sticks are recommended for best visibility), or we will have extras on hand.
This marks the sixth local protest held in Ocala, which in April saw more than 500 souls show up and attract state-wide attention.
RESISTANCE IS WORKING–IMPEACH TRUMP 2026!
All these protests have been incited by a series of executive orders by ersatz President Trump, including actions managed by a deranged Elon Musk, which are eliminating the positive and inclusive role of the federal government. We participants fight the so-called Department of Government Efficiency — and seek the reinstatement of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives that have been rescinded through racist executive orders.
