INSTRUCTOR:
John Elliott is a degreed master photographer with more than five decades in the medium. He began his professional career as a newspaper photojournalist in the early '70s and an instructor at The Art Institute of Atlanta in the early ‘80s. Since then he has handled a wide variety of international assignments and projects, as an Army photographer, magazine photojournalist, commercial photographer, and most recently as a public diplomacy Foreign Service officer for 11 years with the U.S. State Department.
