Beyond the Password Reset: Microsoft 365 Security + Live AI Deployment
Details
You changed the password. But did you actually lock out the attacker? Join us to explore what can remain after a Microsoft 365 account compromise, and watch AI help deploy an open-source management portal that makes investigating and securing those accounts easier.
At this month's OCCA meeting, we'll build CIPP, the CyberDrain Improved Partner Portal, live with an AI assistant handling deployment steps while an administrator guides the process and verifies the results.
Then we'll put this open-source portal to work investigating and containing unauthorized access. We'll also look at how it brings everyday Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune administration together across multiple clients.
We'll explore:
- What to check after a password reset: sign-in activity, inbox rules, forwarding, authentication methods, and app permissions.
- Session revocation and other options for containing unauthorized access.
- Where AI can help with a real infrastructure deployment, and where human judgment still matters.
You’ll leave with practical checks to strengthen your account-recovery process and a concrete example of using AI to automate work beyond writing emails.
Whether you manage Microsoft 365, support small-business clients, or simply want to see AI tackle a substantial technical project, come see it in action. No previous CIPP experience is required. Bring your questions!
Dinner will be provided courtesy of the OCCA.
