What we’re about

If you don't answer the questions, you don't get in the group, and we keep the community safe. "Class is intended for Native and Indigenous Community as affinity group and private space for learning".

The Occaneechi Saponi Community is descended from a confederation of related Eastern Siouan Indian tribes. Most of the community members reside in and around Pleasant Grove Township in northeastern.

Alamance County. Smaller communities of our families live out in the Mebane Oaks and Cedar Grove areas.

Do you have ties to Jeffries Cross or Martin's Chapel?

Are you of Siouan kinship (Monacan, Saura, Occaneechi, Eno, Shoccoree, Adshusheer, Sissiphaw,) to name a few.

This community was a Free People of Color Community. This is where many of the Occaneechi, Eno, and Saponi settled after the 1700s.

It is always free and Open to the Public. Whether you are Young Or old, there is something here for you every week!!!

Could you get involved and join our Family?
