World Ocean Day Beach Clean @Spanish Banks

Let's start the summer strong. It's World Ocean Day.

Join Surfrider friends of Vancouver meetup group for a beach clean at at Spanish Banks from 10-11:30am, June 7! This is a great way to meet new friends, while helping to preserve our beautiful coastline and protect wildlife. We will be just left (when looking at the water) of the East Concession Stand. See Map.

Also we are expecting a BIG turn out, so if you can bring gloves and a earth friendly bag ( e.g. re-usable grocery bag) that you don't mind using for trash collection, that would be great.

We are partnering with SeaSmart and Ernest Icecream! There will be some fun giveaways and prizes! We encourage you to bring your friends, a hot or cold drink and good vibes!

Post Clean up Party at Tacofino Ocho from 12:30 - 2:30 ... super stoked they are hosting a special event after for a taco and cinco drink for $12. Great way to chit chat, I will be there and hope you can make it!!

Surfrider Foundation Canada - Vancouver Chapter, is a volunteer non-profit, who will provide all clean up items and record all your efforts into a conservation database.
