2025 OCLBASA Careers Day

You are invited to the OCLB ASA's annual Careers Day!

Are you curious about the range of careers that are available to someone with skills in statistics, math, data science, analytics, social science, etc.? Would you like to have a Mock Interview with a professional who can give you honest feedback on your resume?

If so, Careers Day is designed for you! Come and meet professionals from companies like AbbVie, Amgen, Edwards Life Sciences, UCLA Biostatistics, Chapman University, UCR, and more.

Talk with professionals to learn about their work, compensation, projects, challenges, continuing education – ask them anything! Some will be hiring but most are there as volunteers to help you!

9:00am - 11:45am: Mock Interviews & Exhibitors
12:00pm - 1:00pm: Panel Discussion

STUDENTS: Come by 9 am to be sure you get a slot for Mock Interviewing and to get the best time with the Exhibitors. Select one of the mock jobs from the three descriptions below (see photos). Don't forget to bring your resume!!
