Opening Reception/Inauguração por Pinturas de Eddy Van Calsteren (VanCé)

🇬🇧Come meet the artist and be the first to see our new exhibition featuring the popular work of Eddy Van Calsteren! Aside from the fabulous art, of course there will also be wine and music!

About the Artist:
Eddy Van Calsteren, (VanCé), born in Brussels in 1951, is a painter and photographer who studied drawing, painting and photography and restoration at the Atelier of Marcel Hastir (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcel_Hastir ).
He has exhibited in the cultural centers of Brussels and Grimbergen, Vilvoorde , Neder-over-Heembeek and at the Musée de la vie in Brussels. There, he was commissioned to create 50 works, to illustrate a book about Brussels:"De la gare du Nord à la gare du Midi".
He moves to Provence and exhibits in the Renaissance town of Barjac.
He remained figurative and tried to get closer to reality with drawings and watercolors.
He exhibited at the Casa de Baia in Setubal (Portugal), a tourism and cultural center dedicated to promoting the town and the Arrabida region.

About the Artist:
Eddy Van Calsteren, (VanCé), né à Bruxelles en 1951, artiste peintre et photographe, a suivi des cours de dessin, peinture
et restauration à l’Atelier, chez Marcel Hastir. (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcel_Hastir )
Il a exposé dans les centres culturels de Bruxelles, Grimbergen,
Vilvoorde , Neder-over-Heembeek et au musée de la vie
Flamande à Bruxelles . Là, une commande de 50 œuvres,
destinées à l’illustration d’un livre sur Bruxelles :
« De la gare du Nord à la gare du Midi », lui a été faite.
Il va habiter en Provence et expose dans la cité renaissance de Barjac.
Il reste dans le figuratif et essaie de se rapprocher de la réalité avec des dessins et des aquarelles.
Il a exposé à la Casa de Baia de Setubal (Portugal) à la fois maison du tourisme et de la culture qui se consacre à la promotion de la ville et la région de l'Arrabida.
