Have you wondered where—or how—to begin, or worried that no one will want to read what you’ve written?

Have you told yourself you couldn’t possibly do such a thing because you’re “not really a writer?”

In this autobiographical writing workshop, you don’t need any previous writing experience to learn how to write about your life in an interesting and engaging way that others will love to read. The class provides thoughtful guidance and easy writing prompts to help you make your memories come alive on the page.

You will walk out of this experience with (at least) one short written work about your life, and lots of ideas for how to keep the stories coming.

MEET LADONNA...
In previous lives, LaDonna was a journalist, a copywriter, an editorial director, a public speaker, and a poetry slammer. She has poetry and prose published or forthcoming in literary magazines including Literary Mama, Zero Readers, SWWIM, Quail Bell Magazine, and Tupelo Quarterly. She also has work published in Ache: The Body’s Experience of Religion and Take the Fruit: An Anthology of Religious Trauma. She writes regularly at The Long Scrawl on Substack and is currently writing two full-length memoirs, one of which will be published in 2026.
