Because of a snafu, my Intro To Screenwriting classes didn't run as scheduled but GOOD NEWS, I am doing an intercession class at Irvine Valley College.

The classes start next Thursday thru January 2017 (8 official classes and 1 "unofficial" class.)  No classes Thanksgiving or Christmas week.

If you've ever wanted to discover what you can do as a screenwriter, let me help you!

Classes are ongoing and will run again in January 2017 but why wait?  Get writing!

INTRODUCTION TO SCRIPTWRITING
WHEN:
1st class: November 3rd, 6:30pm (8 official sessions, 1 unofficial session)
- No classes Thanksgiving and Christmas Week;
- Unofficial class New Year's week at coffee shop.

Irvine Valley College, Room B105 (in the bookstore building)
-Get a parking pass from the machines.  They ticket pretty robustly.
COST:
$150.00 payable to Irvine Valley College.

Class description:
Discover the art and craft of screenwriting, from class writing assignments to first original idea, transforming those concepts to script form.  Each week, students will write and critique their material in the workshop/class setting with assignments that focus on various scriptwriting concepts.  Students will also watch movies (at home) which will then be discussed and broken down in class.  Structure, characterization and plot will be talked about as well as mythological and psychological concepts involved in storytelling
