Octopus Inc is a grassroots community collective dedicated to building spaces of care, creativity, and connection for marginalized and underserved communities. Our mission is to foster collaborative care, mutual aid, and chosen families through events, workshops, and social gatherings. We focus on supporting queer and vulnerable youth while creating inclusive spaces where everyone is valued, seen, and celebrated.
Who We Want to Meet:
We welcome anyone interested in community-building, mutual aid, creative expression, ritual, and social support. Whether you want to volunteer, connect with like-minded people, or contribute to local initiatives, Octopus Inc is a space to meet others who care about inclusion, justice, and joyful collaboration.
What We Do / Event Activities:
Monthly Meetings:
Held twice monthly, alternating between Zoom virtual gatherings and in-person meetings at Growers Market, 454 Willamette St, Eugene, Oregon
Share updates, plan community actions, and discuss projects and events
Workshops & Community Projects:
Collaborative art projects, ritual gatherings, and support initiatives for marginalized youth
Fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and pop-up community events
Social & Networking Opportunities:
Meet other community-minded people, exchange ideas, and develop meaningful connections
Participate in discussions around inclusion, creativity, and community care
Who Should Join:
Anyone who wants to contribute to a community of care, support local initiatives for youth, or participate in creative and inclusive events. No prior experience required—just a willingness to engage, support, and grow together.
