Theatre Night!

Set your course for an evening of theatre, friendship, and doing some good in the galaxy! Our friends at Pathways are hosting a Theatre Night fundraiser at Long Beach Playhouse and our crew is invited to join the away mission!

Pathways provides compassionate care and support to families facing illness, grief, and loss. They are truly one of the caring hearts of our community, and this is a wonderful chance to support their mission while enjoying a fantastic night out together.

This year’s featured production is The Lion in Winter — a sharp, witty, and delightfully dramatic battle for power within the royal Plantagenet family. Think of it as a medieval succession crisis with enough tension, betrayal, and family chaos to make even the Klingon High Council uncomfortable. Set during the holidays, the play is packed with biting humor, political maneuvering, and nonstop verbal sparring between King Henry II, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine, and their sons.

It’s clever, funny, dramatic, and guaranteed to be more entertaining than a malfunctioning holodeck.
