European River Cruise

Let's go to Europe and cruise the Rhine River!

Additional Options: Stay 2 nights in Amsterdam pre-cruise and/or 2 nights in Lucerne, 2 nights in Zurich post cruise.

Day 1: AMSTERDAM. Set sail out of Amsterdam.

Day 2: COLOGNE, GERMANY. Enjoy cruising to Cologne. Join guided tours, see local sights, visit a local tavern to taste its famous Kölsch beer (only made in Cologne), or join a guided bike ride along the Rhine River and through the historic Stadtgarten.

Day 3: RHINE GORGE – RÜDESHEIM. Cruise through the captivating UNESCO-designated Rhine Gorge, the most stunningly beautiful stretch of the river before reaching Rüdesheim. Gondola Ride, Wine Tasting, Vinyard Hike, Guided Bike Tour, Museums tour (Mechanical Musical Insturment), and Rudesheimer Coffee.

Day 4: LUDWIGSHAFEN. Ludwigshafen is your gateway to a choice of four excursions.
(1) Heidelberg, the perfectly preserved medieval city nestled in the Neckar River Valley along Germany’s Castle Road.
(2) Guided hike up the Philosopher’s Path, aptly named during the
Romantic Period, and enjoy panoramic views of the city.
(3) Visit Speyer, known for the largest Romanesque cathedral in Europe
(4) Guided bike tour along the shores of the river Neckar and enjoy a cycling break to explore the picturesque medieval town of Ladenburg.

Day 5: STRASBOURG, FRANCE. Flavors of both France and Germany because of its borderline location. Enjoy a panoramic tour past the stunning Parc de l’Orangerie, the European Parliament and
the Place de la République. Wander through charming streets past the Cathédrale de Nôtre Dame with its famous astronomical clock, or take a guided bike ride through the city and Parc de l’Orangerie.

Day 6: BREISACH, GERMANY. Breisach is your gateway to several different excursions.
(1) Visit to the enchanting Alsatian town of Riquewihr, which looks almost the same as it did in the 16th century. You will see historic architecture and famous sights, such as the Dolder Gate.
(2) Head to Freiburg, founded in 1120 and home to the Freiburg’s Münster, a Gothic cathedral said to have “the most beautiful spire on earth.”
(3) Cycle through the countryside.
(4) Hike in the Black Forest, a magical land full of cultural traditions.

Day 6: BASEL, SWITZERLAND – DISEMBARKATION – LUCERNE. Disembark the ship and, before transferring to Lucerne, go on a highlights tour of Basel. Once in Lucerne, discover the unrivaled beauty and charm of this pristine city on a walking tour. Check into your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening.

Pricing includes the port charges of $210 per person and the enhanced group offer of $1,000 off per person valid for your group until December 31, 2022. Once this expires, the sailing will go back to the group discount of only $250 off per person.

Deposits of $400 per person are due within seven days of reserving your stateroom. Final payment is due April 7, 2023.
