A millionaire offers $10,000 each to five people who agree to spend the night in a haunted mansion which allegedly has been the site of seven murders. He and his wife (his fourth after the mysterious deaths of the first three) will stay the night as well, and all participants will be locked inside until the following dawn. Anyone who’s still alive at that time will receive the promised payment.
