· The Age of Adaline · by Lee Toland Krieger @ Beatley Library

Adaline was born around the beginning of the 20th century. She lived a fairly typical life of for a woman of the time until she was involved in a strange accident. When she recovered, she eventually noticed that she had stopped aging, and as the years passed she also realized that she was effectively immortal. The practical requirements of dealing with eternal life and youth without bringing attention to oneself are a large part of the plot, as are matters of the heart.
